Document naming

• In general, all documents should be named as a verb or adverb (e.g "Hardware abstraction layer specification.doc")

Data and variable naming

• Variables and data should be pre-fixed with the associated module or layer acronym (e.g. os_active_task_priority)
• All data and variables should be named as a verb (e.g. hal_current_timebase_value)
